Add an Automated SMS Reminders

SMS reminders work the same way as that of sending Automated Email reminders.   You will need to setup your Twilio integration (See: Setting up Twilio Integration ) before you will be able to send SMS reminders.

  • Navigate to Appointments > Add/Edit – Reminders.
  • Click ‘ Add New Automated Reminder’ button.
  • Select the ‘Triggers’ Tab
    • Enter the sending delay – This can be in hours, days, months or years
    • Enter the trigger – before or after the booking date
    • Select the appointment types you wish to activate the reminder on
  • Set the Reminder Action to Active to allow sending and inactive to stop sending
  • Select the ‘SMS Reminder’ Tab
  • Enable sending reminder SMS by ticking the Enable SMS.

SMS body is the actual content that will be sent in the SMS to the customer. There are some placeholders available which can be used in the SMS body. These placeholders will be replaced by the actual information when sending SMS to the customer.

  • The following are placeholders that can be used in the Email body
    • {product_title} : Name of the product.
    • {order_date} : Date and time of the order is placed
    • {order_number} : Number of the order
    • {customer_name} : Display name of the customer
    • {customer_first_name} : First name of the customer
    • {customer_last_name} : Last name of the customer
    • {start_date} : Booking start date
    • {end_date} : Booking end date
    • {booking_time} : Booking Time
    • {booking_id} : ID of the Booking
    • {booking_resource} : Resource information about the booking
    • {zoom_link} : Zoom link from the booking
    • {booking_table} : Shows all booking information

Once this is done, click on the Save Settings button.

Please not you are unable to send a test SMS using the send test button.
